Vegetable Beef Soup
prep-time=5 minutes cook time=20-25 minutes serves 4 with leftovers
- 1 lb. 93% lean ground beef
- 1 tbl. VOO(extra virgin olive oil)
- 1 tea. seasoned salt
- 2tbl. flour
- 6 cups cold water
- 1 tbl. chicken bouillon
- 1 tea. garlic powder
- 2 packages Ramen Noodles-only use one flavor pouch
- 4 oz. frozen green beans
- 16 oz. frozen vegetable soup mix
- 4 oz. sweet peas
Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Brown ground beef seasoned with the seasoned salt. Add flour and cook for about 2 minutes more. Add water, chicken bouillon, and garlic powder; bring to boil.
Add vegetables and Ramen noodles.
Lower heat and simmer for about 10 minutes, until noodles are soft-ish
This is one of the easiest things you can cook, so it’s great for a school-night or an extra curricular activity night. Serve each bowl with oyster crackers and maybe a grilled cheese sandwich.
